It is not recommended for the starter. It is more of a professional who know more about the services 3. SharePoint 0. If you don ', t know any thing about this gift', t get it. Rating: 2 / 5
A sight d' together décente; the book does many comparisons à older versions of the services of SharePoint which I n' étais not intéressé inside because I n' do not have employé the versions préalables. That the dimension of the était book a loss of hour for me and right confusion supplémentaire because it has ajouté much additional limits and descriptions of the approaches which are not any more appropriées. If you come derrière from this qu' they are réfèrent as version 2 then these sections could useful être.
The authors push their personal préférence in the design. I don& #039; l' spirit of T an author proposing a préférence but this author proposes some things like & quot; right& quot; solution which will encourage a programmer chevronné à to raise an eyebrow.

This book is priced (outrageously!) At $ 49. 99. I bought a "special" price of $ 32. 99. After reading, I would not pay $ 10. 00 for him. Reading this book is like reading Beowulf in the 10th century Old English of a book without notes or narratives. A word in ten is clearly in one direction, 3 to 4 words can be interpreted in context, and the remaining 5-6 remain sealed. This happens not because of lack of data – there's plenty of it – but for a remarkable lack of information. The only one who can benefit from reading this book is an employee of the Hello World Widget Manufacturing Company. He will be able to "ape" the book examples, but those wishing to develop its own program or its features, menus, lists and content types are advised to look elsewhere for help. CAML used successfully for SharePoint objects requires the understanding of meaning and usage of the host attribute, and the choices available for each attribute. This book provides no explanation for these choices, unless they are explicitly in an example. Say you want to create a menu that can be triggered from the Site Settings page (instead of the Shares of the site or the ECB). Well, you can not because the book does not provide a list of choices for the Location attribute. How to create a list of surveys? Sorry, no table exists with the choice for the enumeration listType. How to create a menu that is only an action by a certain group of users? Forget it. In fact, the book contains no enumerated list (except for a list content type IDS). In reading the book, I felt it had been stitched together from material already written. I did some digging and found that, of course, much of the book was based on the technical articles that had appeared in MSDN magazine. One might think that the authors improve the material by adding narration to achieve completeness and cohesion in writing, but no, they lazily slapped together the disparate sections. Although many authors of technical books believe they can write masterpieces without first mastering the basics of English composition and grammar, the authors of this book are simply shameless in their assault on the grammar and clear composition. Their motto is "never write in 10 words Crisp what can be said in 3 murkily-written paragraphs." Chapter 2 – SharePoint Architecture – and 3 – Pages and Design – are more understandable, Chapter 6 – Lists and types of content – that is tolerable, but the others are in varying degrees unreadable.

By far the best book on SharePoint never écrit! ! J' étais thus confused with Sharepoint I has pensé that I should cease working with him whereas j' obtained this book and it has dégagé upwards.
I am a little d' a beginner, and can obtain easily confused, but Ted Pattison appeared with a étonnant work here
